The Greenest Region Corps (GRCorps) is a partnership between the Mayors Caucus and AmeriCorps that started in 2018 and pairs enthusiastic volunteers with GRC communities for approximately 11 months (1,720 hours) to lead sustainability projects.

Are you interested in hosting a GRCorps Member in your community? The GRCorps program connects emerging sustainability professionals with municipalities to help them achieve the sustainability goals and objectives of the Greenest Region Compact. GRCorps members will provide full-time voluntary service for participating communities beginning from October 2021-September 2022. See our GRCorps webpage for examples of projects that GRCorps Members have completed in previous years.

The Mayors Caucus is holding a GRCorps Host Information Session on Friday, November 6th, from 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. This session will provide a brief overview of the GRCorps program and outline the logistics of hosting a member at your organization. Current GRCorps host site supervisors will be present to answer questions about the GRCorps host site experience and commitment.
