The Equitable Participation for Citizens with Disabilities Forum is intended to help communities identify living and participation disparities for persons with disabilities and action plan to address those disparities. Please plan to join us at one of our Equitable Participation for Citizens with Disabilities Forums!
At the forum, we will explore key PWD disparities findings from national and state research on transportation, housing, employment and access to community resources. Attendees will engage in critical discussion of what data they could most use at their community level to identify and target the disparities that citizens with disabilities face. Together, we will strategize and prioritize opportunities for systems and policy changes. Upon benchmarking community participation disabilities data and highlighting best practices, attendees will action-plan strategies to increase PWD community participation opportunities.
